Held in the streets of Historic Occoquan, the Fall Arts & Crafts Show features two packed days of a wide range of hundreds of Makers and Creators in over 20 categories. Meet experienced artisans, talk to them about their work, and view demonstrations of some of their craft techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to indulge in festival fare and enjoy live music in the Beer Garden in River Mill Park. Kids will want to stop by Imagination Alley to create their own art at the Art Bar!

Alexandria, VA: On Saturday, April 20, 2024, The Trash to Treasure Movement, a sustainable shopping and creative reuse advocacy resource, will be presenting a sustainable fashion show that will highlight the work of creative reuse fashion designers for 2024 Earth Day weekend. All proceeds of the event will benefit UpCycle Creative Reuse Center and their mission to inspire all people to explore and create by engaging our community in art-making experiences with reuse materials.
The event will take place at The Garden ALX (5380 Eisenhower Ave Suite C, Alexandria, VA 22304). Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite secondhand and sustainable outfits and a select number of attendees will be invited to walk the runway in them.
Our Spring Art Market is an annual outdoor market, the day before Mother’s Day, that gives you the chance to purchase original handcrafted artwork from talented local artists. This market showcases artwork in a wide range of media including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, paper, photography, and more. Shop original work from local artists—perfect for gifts or treat yourself!
The Spring Art Market will be on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10am-4pm in Colasanto Park, adjoining Del Ray Artisans gallery at 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA (at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Mount Vernon Avenue).
The event is held rain or shine, FREE to browse, and open to the public. Drop in anytime during the event to meet the artists and enjoy the outdoor market.
